Car Awards began in 1929 as a fundraiser for the newly established Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon. Eighty years later, the concept has not changed - raise money in order to "... serve the community's greatest need..." This project is unique for the club as it takes place during the week of the Prarieland Exhibition making it a week long fundraiser. This project in addition to raising money also raises awareness for not just our club but other Kin Clubs as well including the Kinettes.
Car Awards facilitates interaction between the public, who support our efforts, and members and volunteers. Car Awards is the clubs third largest fundraiser. It is also unique in the fact that family members and friends can participate in this fundraiser which allows them to see first hand, the club in action.
