Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner
Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner
Thank you for your support Saskatoon and Saskatchewan! We had a very successful 57th Annual Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner presented by the Brandt Group of Companies.

It was an incredible night as we paid tribute to Guy "The Flower" Lafleur. The evening event was jam packed with amazing moments from beginning to end. For those in attendance, it was a night to remember.

Jackie Redmond - thank you for running the show. Jackie was our master of ceremonies for the night and she did an outstanding job. Saskatoon's own Kelly Chase had the 1200 people in attendance laughing all night long and Jamie Campbell delivered another awesome performance - especially with that suit on!

We were able to honour Hayley Wickenheiser and congratulate her on a remarkable career. Rob Bagg and Nic Demski with your Saskatchewan Roughriders took the stage as they prepare for what should be a very exciting season at the new Mosaic Stadium. Marco Estrada of the Toronto Blue Jays inspired the crowd with his story and his passion for the game of baseball. What a class act! Go Jays!

We were able to hand out some hardware for Athlete of the Year, Team of the Year and Sportsman of the Year. Congrats to Johnny Marciniuk and all award winners!

The highlight of the night had Kelly Chase orchestrate a truly unique round table discussion with hockey legends, Guy Lafleur, Mario Lemieux and Luc Robitaille. Now that's a lineup! Marc Bergevin, GM of the Montreal Canadiens, had everyone laughing out loud with his great sense of humour and ability to engage the crowd. Mario, Guy, Luc and Marc we're able to share stories from back in their playing days while talking about the game as we know it today. These guys had everyone on the edge of their seats as we paid tribute to one of the greatest players of all time!

We want to thank the Brandt Group of Companies for your incredible support once again this year. We truly appreciate your commitment to giving back in our community.

Thank you to Merlin Ford Lincoln for sponsoring our tailgate party and providing the custom, one-of-a-kind Ford Mustang, which we auctioned off to raise money for our club.

Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket, a table, an auction item. We we're able to raise a lot of money and we have you to thank for that. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the planning and execution of this amazing event. We wouldn't be able to do it without you.

All proceeds from this event are distributed back into the community to meet both our mandate and our motto - Serving the Community's Greatest Need.

If you have any questions, please email us at tickets@kcos.ca and we will be in touch with you. If you have feedback for us as we strive to deliver a unique experience year after year, we would very much appreciate it.

Stay tuned for our 58th Annual Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner in February next year.

Thank you for another successful event!
